Training Technology Transfer in the UK: Lessons for the Developing Countries

Objectives

This course will provide the fundamentals and better understanding of the concept and practice of Technology Transfer (TT) with several examples from the Developing Countries (DCs). The course will also review several TT activities in the UK such as Depratment of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Technology Strategy Board with case studies; DTI - Knowledge Transfer Networks with case studies; Knowledge Transfer Partnerships; Video case studies; Innovation Centre and Intellectual Property (IP); British Council Knowledge Transfer Partnerships pilot propjet; Discussion and questions.
